Yusuf Azim, M.D.

Yusuf Azim, M.D. obtained a B.S. in Biology at George Mason University, after which he started medical school at the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine (formerly known as MCV). He has completed his Psychiatry residency at University of Virginia.
His interests and focuses in psychiatry include working with a wide spectrum of patients ranging from adolescents to geriatrics, psychopharmacology, Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS), and community based psychiatry.

Katarina Nguyen

Katarina Nguyen, M.D. attended medical school, residency in General Psychiatry and fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the University of Virginia, where she also served as Chief Fellow from 2018-2019 before returning home to Northern Virginia. She specializes in psychiatric care of children, adolescents, and adults for diagnosis, evaluation, and medication management, and is a firm believer in goal-oriented, integrative care in coordination with psychotherapy providers. With a warm, compassionate, and easy-going style, Dr. Nguyen is often considered by caregivers looking for a supportive "feelings doctor"; for children struggling with fear, sadness, anger, and concentration problems. She is happy to accommodate busy schedules with early morning, lunchtime, or late afternoon/early evening appointments.

Elissa Hauptman, DNP, APRN, PMHNP-BC

Elissa Gerfen Hauptman is a board certified Psychiatric-Mental Health NursePractitioner (PMHNP) licensed to practice in Maryland and Virginia. She has a Bachelor's of Arts in Psychology from Vanderbilt University, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Georgetown University, and a Doctor of Nursing Practice from University of Virginia. She takes a holistic approach to mental health treatment. Specialties include mood and anxiety disorders, ADHD, and she has taken additional training for perinatal mood and anxiety disorders.

Natalie Brooks, PNP

Brooks is a doctoral psychiatric nurse practitioner at Comprehensive Behavioral Health in Arlington, VA. Natalie has training and experience treating psychiatric disorders across the lifespan in both inpatient and outpatient settings. She has a sub-specialty in forensic nursing and her work in the field has been presented internationally. Her population of interest include survivors of both sexual and domestic abuse. She provides holistic, goal-oriented, patient centered medication management.

Jonathan Fricke, PMHNP-BC:

Jonathan Fricke, PMHNP-BC was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and is a graduate of George Mason University in Fairfax, VA. He obtained his masters in advanced practice psychiatric care at Wilkes University in Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania. He has over 10 years of experience in psychiatric acute care and 2 years of experience in neurological intensive care nursing. Mr. Fricke specialized in treating children and adolescents with psychiatric illnesses at Dominion Hospital in Falls Church, VA where he worked as assistant clinical manager of the Children’s Unit for 7 years.

Pamela Marks, LPC

Pamela Marks is a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Bachelors degree in Psychology and a Masters in Mental Health Counseling. She has years of experience working with older adolescents and adults of all ages who struggle with anxiety, depression, low self-esteem/low self-image, identity issues, sexuality issues, addiction, sleep problems, and relationship issues. She prioritizes fostering a safe and supportive space to empower individuals to reach their personal goals.

Heather Clark, LGPC

Heather's special interest is eating disorders, including binge eating disorder, bulimia, and anorexia, as well as related concerns, like body image, compulsive eating, chronic dieting, intuitive eating, and orthorexia. She trained at The Renfrew Center of Baltimore, and is undergoing 2 additional certifications related to food/body issues. She is a member of the Internationl Association of Eating Disorder Professionals, and she is passionate about the Health At Every Size(R)philosophy and approach.

Courteney Strickland, LPC

Courteney Strickland, LPC is a Licensed Professional Counselor who specializes in working with children, adolescents, and families experiencing depression, behavioral issues, anxiety, suicidality, self harm, and learning differences. Courteney has served in both clinical and supervisory roles at Dominion Hospital, serving children, adolescents and their families. Courteney’s clinical expertise includes facilitating individual, group, and family therapy, as well as parent training sessions designed to improve the parent-child relationship.

Heather Wilcox, MA, LMFT

Heather has a Master of Arts degree in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University and Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Social Behavior from the University of California, Irvine. Heather is a Licensed Marriage and Family therapist who serves adolescents, adults, and couples with a wide variety of mental health concerns.

Adena Levy, LCSW:

Adena Levy, LCSW specializes in counseling and therapy services for individuals and couples.Throughout her career, Mrs. Levy has worked with clients on topics such as coping with stress, depression, anxiety, life transitions, grief and loss. She uses a strengths based approach and believes that her role as a Clinician is to help guide clients to live their best lives. She is well liked and trusted by clients and is honored to provide her therapeutic services.

Kieran Evans, LCSW:

Kieran Evans is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Bachelor of Arts from American University, a Master of Health Sciences from Johns Hopkins University and a Master of Social Work from Boston College. Kieran has 10 years of mental health experience, working primarily with adults who experience depression, anxiety, mood instability, grief and loss, sleep issues, interpersonal difficulties, and identity confusion. She has special interest and training in working with clients who have post-traumatic stress disorder and/or a history of trauma. Clients have described Kieran as warm, compassionate, easy-to-talk-to, thoughtful, collaborative and engaging. She is comfortable doing both insight-oriented therapy as well as skill-building and often utilizes both depending on what you need.
